Kalahari Leo UD (Ch Tamba's Kali of Baishore X Walgroh's Cindy Too UD) My very first Ridgeback. Yes, not knowing any better, I trained and showed a Ridgeback to his Utility title! People these days say RRs are stubborn, etc... but that was not my experience. Leo was SMART. He had to be because I didn't know anything and  still we managed to get a  CD when he was 9 mos old and his UD by the time he was 3 years old. Ignorance may be bliss????
Kalahari Peppermint Patty CDX, ROM (Tuskalusa of Arusi X Walgroh's Cindy Too UD) Yes, still not knowing any better, I trained my next RR, too. Patty was my introduction into the conformation ring. Although she had her faults, I learned a lot about showing from handling Patty. Patty was my foundation bitch and gave me my first Champions.
Ch Kalahari Chiku Bashashi CD (Ch Surami-Harlou's Kali Jumbe X Kalahari Peppermint Patty, CDX, ROM) My first homebred champion, Cookie finished at 9 months of age. Yes, I was still into obedience and she got her CD. Cookie was a group placing Ridgeback.
Ch Kalahari Kibibi Shani CD (Ch Surami-Harlou's Kali Jumbe X Kalahari Peppermint Patty, CDX, ROM) Punkin ( don't just love my non-RR names?) was my Dad's favorite and that's why she stayed with us. She had a lovely gait and was a very sweet, sweet dog. She was from the first litter and third to finish.
Ch Kalahari Snow of Kilimanjaro (Ch Surami-Harlou's Kali Jumbe X Kalahari Peppermint Patty, CDX, ROM) Puddin was co owned with me. She was the second to finish her championship from the first litter.
Ch Rawhide's The Kalahari Kid CD (Ch The Guardsman of Kimbida CD, ROM X Texridge Tooli-Lu ROM) Rusty came to us from Louise Lertora of Rawhide RRs and he sired the next generation of my dogs. He produced several group winning dogs in his lifetime.
